Classic prawn cocktail

North Atlantic prawns coated in a Marie-rose sauce dusted with cayenne pepper. Served on  a bed of lettuce leaves with warm bread slices.

Avocado, tomato & buffalo mozzarella salad

Sliced avocado, tomato and mozzarella on mixed herb leaves with a fresh basil pesto dressing.

Main courses

Pan seared fillet of salmon

Salmon fillet on avocado, tomato and roasted pepper risotto, with a light chilli and lime oil dressing.

Traditional beer battered cod and chips

Fillet of cod coated in a light beer batter, mushed pea puree, home-made tartare sauce and a salad garnish.

Lasagne Verdi

Served with a tossed salad, new potatoes and garlic bread.

Liver and bacon

Pan fried lambs’ liver with onion, garlic and red wine, finished with a smoked bacon lardon and cream. Served on Scallion (variety of young mild onion) mash with green vegetables.

Trio of speciality sausages

Three locally produced sausages on a light mustard mash and caramelised onion gravy.

The Buthay Burger

100% ground beef burger topped with bacon and an apple scented cheese in a dressed, toasted bun. Enjoy with chips, onion rings and salad garnish.

Honey glazed ham and eggs

Thick cut slices of Wiltshire ham glazed with honey and mustard, two fried eggs, chips and a salad garnish. 

Breast of chicken

Chicken breast stuffed with brie and wrapped in bacon. Dauphinoise style potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables.

Bunny chow

Traditional South African curry recipe. This originated in the Durban Indian community and is served in a cottage loaf with sambals and a poppadum.

10oz rump steak

Rump steak cooked to your liking accompanied by chips, grilled tomato, mushroom, homemade onion rings and a salad garnish.

Steak sauces: Stilton cream or Pepper sauce 2.50


Halloumi burger

Garlic, thyme and a pinch of paprika infused into the halloumi, served on a dressed toasted bap and chips.

Roasted red pepper, smoked cheese and spinach quesadilla

Flavoured with garlic, spinach and melting strong toasted cheddar, served with an apple-slaw, green salad and potatoes.
